General FAQs
What is the difference between the NIRA Pro Laser and NIRA Precision Laser?
Whether you’re looking to treat larger areas on the face and body, or smaller harder-to-treat areas around the face, NIRA Pro and NIRA Precision are everything you need for your daily anti-aging skincare routine. Both lasers are FDA-cleared and use the same patented, non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology to stimulate natural collagen production without pain, redness, or downtime. Both laser treatments are simple, portable, fast, and effective for clinical-grade wrinkle reduction in as little as 90 days. They also feature 5 power levels (or comfort levels) that enable you to adjust each laser to compliment your skin sensitivity.
With a 10x larger treatment tip than NIRA Precision, the NIRA Pro Laser is able to treat the full face, neck, chest, and back of hands in just minutes a day. In addition, our in-house laser experts designed NIRA Pro without a treatment button - enabling treatment to automatically begin once the device tip is in full contact with the skin.
With a smaller precision tip, the NIRA Precision Laser is the perfect skincare device to target the hardest-to-reach areas around the eyes and mouth, smooth crow’s feet, and even lift hooded eyes.
For maximum wrinkle reduction and skin renewal, we recommend combining both NIRA Pro and NIRA Precision to be able to treat both large and small, harder-to-treat surface areas. Visit our blog to learn more about the differences between NIRA Precision and NIRA Pro.
Who can use the NIRA lasers?
The NIRA lasers can be used by anyone over the age of 22. The NIRA lasers are safe to use and suitable for all skin types and tones. In order to achieve FDA clearance, our technology was clinically tested on 76 subjects (both women and men) for efficacy and safety. Please see the instructions for each device for a full list of contraindications.
What do the NIRA lasers feel like on the skin? Do they hurt?
When used correctly on clean, dry skin, the NIRA lasers feel like a warm, pulsing sensation on your skin. Each NIRA laser features 5 power (or comfort) levels that enable you to adjust the laser to your skin sensitivity.
If you are new to NIRA, we recommend starting on power level 1, seeing what it feels like, and gradually adjusting your power levels from there. As long as you feel warmth during treatment, and not pain, you are getting the benefits of the laser.
Can I travel with the NIRA lasers? Can they be packed in a carry-on bag?
Yes, both of the NIRA lasers are portable, wireless devices that travel well. Each laser is small enough to fit in a carry-on bag, does not need to be plugged in for use, and contains a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. If possible, we recommend packing the device in its original packaging to avoid damage.
Is NIRA cruelty free?
Yes, all NIRA products are 100% cruelty-free and have never been tested on animals.
Is there a NIRA app?
Not yet, but the NIRA app is currently in development and will be available on the iOS App Store soon. The NIRA app will enable you to track your laser usage over time, track your results with before and after photos, and more. Please subscribe to our email newsletter at the bottom of the page to get notified when it launches!

What are the benefits of hyaluronic acid (HA)?
As we age, our natural production of hyaluronic acid (HA) in the skin declines, which contributes to the signs of aging. Hyaluronic acid is a potent ingredient that offers numerous benefits in skincare. It is a powerful humectant that attracts and increases moisture in the skin by 1000x to help hydrate and plump the skin. By boosting hydration, it can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, resulting in smoother, firmer-looking skin. Hyaluronic acid also supports the skin's natural barrier function, protecting it from environmental stressors and promoting a vibrant complexion. Additionally, it has soothing properties and can help calm irritated or sensitive skin. Overall, hyaluronic acid is a versatile ingredient that enhances skin hydration, texture, and resilience.
What percentage of hyaluronic acid is in NIRA's Moisture-Lock HA Serum?
NIRA’s Moisture-Lock Hyaluronic Acid Serum contains 1.1% of hyaluronic acid. As you may know, our all-natural serum formula contains only four ingredients: water, sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid), phenoxyethanol, and ethylhexylglycerin.
The Moisture-Lock HA Serum is lightweight, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, and vegan. It is designed for use after your laser treatment to complement the beneficial effects of the NIRA lasers!
Can I use the Moisture-Lock HA Serum without a NIRA laser?
Yes, you can buy and use NIRA's Moisture-Lock Hyaluronic Acid Serum without purchasing a NIRA laser. Our hydration-boosting Hyaluronic Acid Serum works to tighten the skin instantly, while the NIRA lasers are clinically proven to provide dramatic, long-lasting results over 90 days.
When combined and used daily, they offer the fastest acting solution to achieving radiant skin while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles!

What is the difference between Matrixyl® 3000 + Argireline®?
Matrixyl®3000 and Argireline® are both popular skincare ingredients known for their anti-aging properties, but they work in slightly different ways.
Matrixyl®3000 is a peptide complex that contains two peptides - palmitoyl oligopeptide and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7. These peptides work to stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin, proteins that are essential for maintaining the skin's firmness and elasticity. Matrixyl®3000 is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. By promoting collagen production, it also helps improve skin texture and overall skin tone.
Argireline® is a peptide that works by inhibiting the movement of facial muscles. It is often referred to as a "topical neurotoxin" due to its ability to reduce the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements. Argireline® is particularly effective in targeting dynamic wrinkles, such as those around the eyes and forehead, by relaxing the facial muscles responsible for these lines.
When used together, Matrixyl®3000 and Argireline® can have a synergistic effect. While Matrixyl®3000 works to improve collagen production and overall skin texture, Argireline® focuses on relaxing facial muscles, reducing the appearance of expression lines. The combination of these two ingredients can provide a more comprehensive approach to addressing various signs of aging, including both static and dynamic wrinkles.
Is it safe to use Matrixyl® 3000 and Argireline together daily?
Yes! In fact, some experts believe that using them together can help to boost their anti-aging benefits.
What is Matrixyl® 3000?
Matrixyl® 3000 is a trademarked proprietary peptide complex used in various skincare products, known for its anti-aging properties. The main components of Matrixyl® 3000 include:
These peptides work together to address signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity, by promoting collagen production and supporting overall skin health. When looking for the best in skin care, Matrixyl® 3000 is one of the best wrinkle fighting ingredients to add to your regimen.
What is Argireline®?
Argireline® is a trademarked brand name for acetyl hexapeptide-8, a synthetic peptide used in various skincare products for its anti-aging properties. Acetyl hexapeptide-8 is a chain of six amino acids, and it is designed to mimic the effects of botulinum toxin (or neurotoxin) without the use of injections. It is thought to inhibit the release of neurotransmitters, thereby reducing muscle contractions and smoothing out wrinkles and expression lines.
Is it better to use Matrixyl® 3000 at night or morning?
Matrixyl® 3000 is safe to use both in the morning and at night. However, there are a few factors to consider:
In summary, Matrixyl® 3000 can be used both in the morning and at night, depending on your skincare routine and personal preference. If you're unsure, consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional can provide personalized advice based on your skin type and concerns.
What should you not use Matrixyl® 3000 with?
You should avoid pairing Matrixyl with Glycolic Acid (AHA) and Salicylic Acid (BHA), both of which are powerful chemical exfoliants that can cause redness, peeling, or irritation. Instead, we recommend using your AHA/BHA products in alternation with Matrixyl every other day or night.
Can I use Niacinamide with Vitamin C?
Yes, you can use Niacinamide (also known as Vitamin B3) and Vitamin C together in your skincare routine. There was once a concern that these two ingredients might interact negatively and cause flushing or redness, but more recent research suggests that they can be used together without irritation.
Can I layer Matrixyl® 3000 with Vitamin C?
Combining Matrixyl® 3000 with Vitamin C can help them complement each other's effects and offer a more thorough approach to skincare. Some advantages of combining these components are improved antioxidant defense, increased collagen formation, and a brighter/more even skin tone.
What does non-comedogenic mean?
"Non-comedogenic" is a term used in the skincare and cosmetic industry to describe products that are formulated to not cause comedones, which are types of acne lesions. Comedones are essentially clogged pores, and they can manifest as blackheads or whiteheads.
A non-comedogenic product is less likely to clog pores, making it suitable for individuals who are prone to acne or have sensitive skin.
In formulating the Youth Renewal Peptide Cream, we carefully selected ingredients with non-comedogenic properties. One key component is squalane, chosen as the leading emollient. Squalane is derived from squalene, a natural component of human sebum. This lightweight and non-comedogenic oil mimics the skin's natural lipids, providing excellent moisturization without clogging pores. This makes our product suitable for individuals with acne-prone or sensitive skin.
Can I treat with both the NIRA Pro Laser and NIRA Precision Laser during the same session?
Yes, you may use both the NIRA Pro Laser and NIRA Precision Laser during the same session. We recommend using the NIRA Precision first, then following with the NIRA Pro for best results. Be sure to move the laser to a new spot for each pulse. If you treat the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. This is not recommended and should be avoided. If you feel warmth, and not pain, your NIRA laser is working properly to stimulate your natural collagen production.
In addition, we recommend waiting at least 1 minute before retreating to each area. Do not treat more than twice within a 1 hour period.
How often should I use NIRA?
Consistency is key when it comes to experiencing stunning results from at-home laser treatments. Both the NIRA Precision Laser and NIRA Pro Laser work similarly to exercise and muscle, it takes time for the collagen to rebuild, and the best results are seen with continued routine use.
For best results with the NIRA lasers, treat your skin daily for 90 days or more according to the instructions. For possible enhanced results, you may treat twice a day; in the morning and the evening. We recommend waiting at least 1-minute before retreating to each area. Daily usage is recommended on an ongoing basis to maintain results.
When can I expect to see results and what should I expect to see?
You should expect to see visible wrinkle improvements within 60 days and dramatic results after 90 days of regular use. We recommend applying the Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Youth Renewal Peptide Cream after your NIRA laser treatment as they provide quick results while the NIRA lasers provide dramatic, long-lasting results over time.
We are so confident that you’ll love your results that we offer a 90-day money back guarantee.
Can the NIRA lasers be used on other areas besides around the eyes?
The NIRA lasers are FDA-Cleared and clinically proven to reduce wrinkles around the eyes. The lasers are also proven safe for use on all skin types and tones. Many NIRA customers have reported improvements with wrinkles around the mouth (marionette lines), forehead, hands, chest, neck, other skin blemishes (like dark circles around the eyes), and more!
How should I prep my skin before and after using a NIRA laser?
You may use any facial cleanser prior to your NIRA laser treatment. The lasers should be used on clean, dry, healthy and damage-free skin. After each treatment, we recommend using our all-natural Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Youth Renewal Peptide Cream to lock in moisture, diminish the appearance of aging, and boost results from the lasers - resulting in softer, smoother, and firmer looking skin. Oh and of course, don’t forget your SPF!
How many pulses am I supposed to use per treatment area with the NIRA lasers?
With NIRA Precision, we recommend 40 pulses daily around each eye area. With NIRA Pro, we recommend 10 pulses for each treatment area daily with slight overlapping in between treatment spots. For possible enhanced results, either NIRA laser can be used twice a day. We recommend waiting at least 1-minute before retreating to each area.
If I use the NIRA lasers on a higher power level, does it mean that I will see results faster?
If you are feeling warmth, then the NIRA laser is working. We do not have official testing that proves that using the NIRA lasers at a higher level will decrease the amount of time needed for results. However, we have had users report seeing results faster when using the device at a higher level, sensitivity permitting.
After 3 months, do I still need to use a NIRA laser every day to maintain my results?
Both the NIRA Precision Laser and NIRA Pro Laser work similarly to exercise and muscle - it takes time for the collagen to rebuild and the best results are seen with continued routine use. The NIRA lasers will stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production as long as you continue treatments. Daily usage is recommended on an ongoing basis to maintain results.
The NIRA lasers can be used twice a day, morning and night, for possible enhanced results. We recommend waiting at least 1 minute before retreating to each area.
What happens if I completely stop using a NIRA laser?
Collagen naturally breaks down over time with age, ultraviolet (UV) exposure, and environmental pollutants. The NIRA lasers help build new collagen, which is naturally depleted over time with age, environmental pollutants, and sun exposure.
Our laser devices are proven to deliver long-lasting results, as 7 out of 10 users maintained their wrinkle reduction benefits for up to three months after their treatment ended. However, if you stop your NIRA laser treatments, you will likely start seeing natural signs of aging after a few months as new collagen production will no longer be stimulated. We recommend using a NIRA laser daily to continue stimulating natural collagen production for a brighter, firmer, and younger looking complexion.
Think of it like brushing your teeth. No matter how healthy and white your teeth are, once you stop brushing, they will become dirty and discolored.
What happens if I stop using a NIRA laser temporarily for a week or so while traveling?
It is not a problem if you need to stop using a NIRA laser temporarily - just start using it again when you return. However, both the NIRA Precision Laser and NIRA Pro Laser travel well, so you can always take it with you!
For best results, we recommend using a NIRA laser daily according to its instructions. You should start to see visible wrinkle improvements within 60 days of regular treatments and good, long-lasting results within 90 days of use. If you stop using the laser during your initial 90 days, your results will most likely be affected.
Can I use a NIRA laser every other day and just double my pulses?
For possible enhanced results, you may use a NIRA laser twice a day; in the morning and evening after cleansing and drying the treatment area.
However, if you can only use it every other day, then doubling the number of pulses may help you get the treatment needed to help promote natural collagen production for younger looking skin. We recommend waiting at least 1 minute before retreating to each area. Do not treat more than twice within a 1 hour period.
Can I treat each area more than once per day with a NIRA laser?
You may treat twice per day for possible enhanced results. We recommend waiting at least 1 minute before retreating to each area. Do not treat more than twice within a 1 hour period.
In addition, make sure that you move the laser to a new spot for each pulse. If you treat the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. This is not recommended and should be avoided. If you feel warmth, and not pain, your NIRA laser is working properly to stimulate your natural collagen production.
Will I see results faster if I treat with a NIRA laser more than twice per day?
For possible enhanced results, you may treat twice per day with a NIRA laser. However, we do not have official testing that proves that using a NIRA laser more than twice a day will decrease the amount of time needed for results.
Please note that we recommend waiting at least 1 minute before retreating to each area.
Can I use the NIRA lasers without the Hyaluronic Acid Serum?
Yes, the NIRA Skincare Collection is designed to complement the laser but is not required. Our ultra-hydrating serum works to tighten the skin, the peptide cream works to renew appearance, while the NIRA lasers provide dramatic long-lasting results over time. When combined, they offer the fastest acting solution to fine lines and wrinkles!
What is a skincare laser for home use?
A skincare laser for home use is a compact, portable device that uses laser technology to provide skin treatments in the convenience of your own home.
NIRA’s at-home lasers are FDA-cleared and clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles without pain, redness, or downtime. Our patented non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology enables you to achieve the same clinical-grade results as professional fractional (or ablative) laser treatments, but at home, at a fraction of the price, and without any side effects.
What is non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology?
Non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology is a type of laser treatment that stimulates collagen production and promotes skin rejuvenation without removing the outer layer of skin. This type of laser delivers targeted thermal energy to the deeper layers of the skin, which stimulates collagen synthesis, improves skin texture, reduces wrinkles, and tightens the skin.
NIRA’s non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology works by gently heating the dermis to stimulate natural collagen production - revealing firmer, youthful looking skin in as little as 90 days. By harnessing the power of laser energy without damaging the skin, non-fractional and non-ablative laser technology provides a non-invasive alternative for wrinkle reduction without any side effects.
By comparison, most facial lasers either at-home or in-office are called "fractional lasers" and/or “ablative lasers”. Fractional or ablative lasers work by removing skin layers and destroying columns of tissue causing skin cells to die, which signals your body to produce more collagen to repair the damaged skin. This process often causes redness, scarring, inflammation, pain, and downtime.
What differentiates the NIRA lasers from other at-home skincare devices?
NIRA has developed the first and only painless at-home lasers that are FDA-cleared and clinically proven to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles in just minutes a day. It’s important to note that the NIRA lasers do NOT use LED light - they are actual lasers for home use. NIRA’s patented laser technology is 200x more powerful than LED and 190x more powerful than competing at-home laser light technology.
Unlike competing at-home skincare devices, NIRA’s laser treatments are simple, fast, and effective - and are a fraction of the price of in-office anti-aging treatments. The lasers are designed to be used on clean, dry, healthy skin - no messy gels or primers required! In addition, NIRA is proven safe and effective for all skin types and tones.
NIRA’s non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology works by gently heating the dermis to stimulate natural collagen production - revealing firmer, youthful looking skin in as little as 90 days. With five comfort levels able to adjust to your skin’s sensitivity, both NIRA Pro and NIRA Precision Lasers make it possible to get clinical-grade, long-lasting wrinkle reduction in the comfort of your own home - all without pain, redness, or downtime.
How are the NIRA lasers 200x more powerful than LED devices?
The NIRA lasers deliver 200x the power density during treatment (W/cm2) than most LED devices do, triggering the skin to rebuild more collagen, faster. For example, LightStim for wrinkles has a power density of 0.06 W/cm2, whereas the NIRA lasers have a power density of 12.5 W/cm2.
How does NIRA compare to fractional or ablative laser treatments at a dermatologist’s office or med-spa? What in-office laser treatments have results equivalent to NIRA’s at-home results?
Lasers have been used in the dermatology space since 1960 and are proven to have numerous skin benefits, one of the biggest being that they reduce wrinkles. NIRA lasers use the same laser chips found in many professional laser systems, but optimized for home use. Our clinical study results are comparable to those from professional systems. However, our technology is different in several important ways that makes it even better.
NIRA lasers use the same semiconductor laser diodes tuned at 1450 nm targeting the peak absorption in the dermis layers. NIRA uses a lower power per unit area and spreads the energy over daily treatments over the course of a month, whereas the dermatologist typically treats with all the energy in one visit per month. Over time, NIRA’s at-home laser devices put in more energy than most professional treatments do in a single visit - generating equal or more skin renewal over time. For example, a typical dermatologist treatment uses 18 Joules per cm2, whereas the NIRA lasers provide 90 Joules per cm2 at power level 5 (more than 4 times the energy), or 64 Joules per cm2 at power level 3, over a month of daily usage.
NIRA’s patented non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology enables you to achieve the same clinical-grade results as professional fractional (or ablative) laser treatments, but at home, at a fraction of the price, and without any side effects.
By comparison, most facial lasers either at-home or in-office are called "fractional lasers" and/or “ablative lasers”. Fractional or ablative lasers work by destroying columns of tissue causing skin cells to die, which signals your body to produce more collagen to repair the damaged skin. This process causes redness to the skin, inflammation, pain, and downtime.
How deep do the NIRA lasers penetrate the skin?
The NIRA lasers use a 1450 nm wavelength to penetrate into the papillary layer of the dermis (where your collagen and elastin cells are located) and gently heats the dermis to painlessly stimulate natural collagen production.
Do the NIRA lasers use LED? How does NIRA’s laser technology compare to LED?
No, the NIRA lasers do NOT use LED light - they are actual lasers for home use.
NIRA lasers are 'near-infrared' lasers that use 100% laser technology and deliver targeted heat energy to gently warm the dermis to stimulate natural collagen production - resulting in clinical-grade wrinkle reduction without pain, redness, or downtime. NIRA also has the only non-fractional laser that has real clinical evidence and was professionally evaluated by blinded reviewers in order to obtain FDA clearance.
By comparison, LEDs are low light therapy that require very long treatment times and may not produce the same level of results. There is also no published evidence for any LED light treatment for wrinkle reduction, only patient-reported improvement.
Do the NIRA lasers use UV (ultraviolet) light therapy?
No, the NIRA lasers do not use UV (ultraviolet) light therapy. Instead, NIRA lasers are 'near-infrared' lasers that use 100% laser technology and deliver targeted heat energy to gently warm the dermis to stimulate natural collagen production, all without pain, redness, or downtime.
In order to obtain FDA clearance for wrinkle reduction, NIRA underwent rigorous clinical testing with blind professional reviewers to confirm the efficacy of our non-fractional, non-ablative laser technology.
What does it mean to be FDA-Cleared?
FDA-Cleared means that the manufacturer of a Class II medical device is able to demonstrate that the product is substantially equivalent to another legally marketed predicate device that has already been approved.
Both the NIRA Precision Laser and the NIRA Pro Laser are FDA-Cleared. The NIRA Precision Laser underwent a 510(k) submission, which the FDA carefully reviewed to provide clearance. The NIRA Pro Laser is a development of previously released and FDA-Cleared NIRA Precision Laser.
Is NIRA’s laser technology clinically tested and proven?
Yes! In order to obtain FDA clearance, rigorous clinical testing was conducted on 76 individuals of all genders in an independent, blinded study by New England Dermatology Associates overseen by three medical experts. The study assessed the NIRA laser's effectiveness and safety as the participants used NIRA for 2 minutes a day over a period of 90 days.
Our technology is unparalleled with no observable adverse effects on darker skin tones, nor any interference with skin melanin levels, making it the only laser device suitable for all skin tones. Furthermore, our laser devices are proven to deliver long-lasting results, as 7 out of 10 users maintained their wrinkle reduction benefits for up to three months after their treatment ended.
Do the NIRA lasers help with other skin concerns other than wrinkles?
All NIRA lasers are FDA-Cleared and clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. However, many NIRA customers have seen improvements with acne, puffiness, dark circles, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and more! However, until we secure FDA clearance for these other claims, we cannot guarantee results.
Are the NIRA lasers safe?
Yes, the NIRA lasers are safe to use and suitable for all skin types and tones. In order to achieve FDA clearance, the NIRA laser was clinically tested on 76 subjects (both women and men) for efficacy and safety. The NIRA laser was also tested and certified for electrical and laser safety as well.
Are the NIRA lasers effective for all genders?
Yes, the NIRA lasers are effective for all genders. The NIRA lasers are also safe to use and suitable for all skin types and tones. In order to achieve FDA-clearance, the NIRA laser was clinically tested on 76 subjects (both male and female) for efficacy and safety. The study showed that there were no significant differences in response rates between genders.
Are there any side effects to using the NIRA lasers?
Though not common, NIRA lasers may cause some temporary redness immediately after use but that should fade within a few minutes. A small portion of users may also experience mild stinging and discomfort. Please see the Instructions for Use for each NIRA laser for a full list of possible side effects, indications, cautions, and precautions.
Can I go in the sun if I am using a NIRA laser?
Yes, we do not have any evidence that suggests that the laser will cause any sensitivity to the sun. However, we always recommend wearing sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. Please note that the laser is meant to be used on unbroken, undamaged skin so you should avoid using a NIRA laser on sunburned skin.
What if I hear excessive rejection tones?
The NIRA lasers need to be placed completely against the skin to fire. The rejection tone indicates that the device tip did not have full contact with the skin. If you hear this tone during treatment, reposition the device tip and make sure there is full skin contact. Keep the device stationary during each laser pulse. Please note that the lasers should be used on clean, dry, and intact skin.
What are the steps to troubleshoot my NIRA laser?
Be sure to move the laser to a new spot for each pulse. If you apply treatment to the same spot twice in a row, the heat in your skin may build up to a point where you feel discomfort or pain. This is not recommended and should be avoided.
What if my NIRA laser will not turn on?
If your NIRA laser will not turn on, please try charging it with the provided USB to USB-C charging cable for more than 1 hour. If this does not resolve the problem, please try resetting the device by holding the power button for 15 seconds. How long do I need to charge the NIRA lasers and how long does a charge last?
Either NIRA laser will fully charge within 3 hours. You'll know that the laser is fully charged when the battery indicator lights stop flashing. Please note that neither NIRA laser will work while they are charging and that you must unplug your device to begin treatment.
A fully charged NIRA Precision Laser will last approximately 4 hours of continuous use. This equates to several weeks of daily usage between charges. Please note that this time will vary based upon your settings and treatment time.
A fully charged NIRA Pro Laser will last approximately 40 minutes of continuous use. This equates to approximately 3 days of daily usage between charges. Please note that this time will vary based upon your settings and treatment time.
How do I know when the battery is low?
If the battery is 50% to 100% charged when you turn on your device, both lights above the charging port will be illuminated. If your laser is less than 50% charged, the top light will not be illuminated. If you are about to lose your charge, then the bottom light will flash.
To charge your NIRA laser, plug the USB-C end of the provided charging cable into your NIRA laser. Then, connect the USB end of the cable into a power adapter (sold separately) and plug it into a wall power outlet. The lights above the charging port will start to flash.
